I’ve only seen the 1st couple episodes.
Ive been on a heavy DP/Tribe vibe lately and came across that clip looking for a DP documentary on YouTube.

Yep. This was exactly the reason why they were blackballed. But Digable Planets were always down with the Nation of Gods and Earths and it was all freckled in their first album, but that album was so abstract that it went over a lot of white folks heads at the time. But they got the Grammy and a lot of heat over what Butterfly said. Their 2nd album was already finished, but the record label didn't promote it at all and released it with little promo as possible and that was that. It's dope that they're still now performing though.

I remember they were featured on this show on MTV about one hit wonders and when they tried to get to why and talking about Blowout Comb the panelist was on some, "They didn't have any stand out songs on Blowout Comb."

Give it a shot. Fair warning - they're out there and probably not for everyone. If you watch 'Atlanta'. They had a song on that too.
In some cases, it's not easy to get, but personally, I really rate them for being an 'outside the box' type group with a different sound. If you can dig Flying Lotus and cats like that - it's not too much a jump from there.
Best place to start is probably the 'Black Up' album.

Those are the singles though - a lot of their stuff is way more obscure than that.
