Van Jones and Obama are cut from the same cloth. That "Let's find common ground and get a little progress where we can" cloth. That's a pragmatic approach but the problem is Black americans, on multiple fronts, are in state of emergency RIGHT NOW. We need MAJOR shifts in policy and resources NOW.

Now we can have a difference of opinion on the strategy to help black folks but when you shamelessly pander on one hand, AND condemn on the other... now you're entering fukkboy territory. Obama is guilty of this. I've never seen Van do no shyt like that. For that he gets more respect than obama in my eyes. .Not enough to endorse him as asset to the black community, just enough to not condemn him. Not yet.

SWS LOVE using Thomas Sowell's "data" to back up many of their claims. It kills two birds with one stone.

- It presents their ideas as some sort of data backed assertion
- It uses a Black man, an "Established" black man, as an involuntary sock puppet for white supremacy

They cherry pick thomas sowell's info and allow him to go unchecked when he uses Tokenism as examples of racism not being an issue

Having said that, i'm personally a huge fan Thomas Sowell's work on race and culture issues. It's great work imho
