Is anyone else addicted to chicken wings from the chinese hood spots or am I just tripping?

Chinese people around my way started a barbecue spot. R.I.P to the game. They're lunch special is a half jerk chicken with a side (chili, collard greens, macncheese, or fries) for $10 :ohlawd:

They also serve Brisket, Ribs, Sausage links and some other stuff.

I'm on a no carb diet so I'm in there once a week :wow:and I swear they get you your food faster than McDonalds.

I think that people have a really weird perception of chinese take outs. They should really cost a lot more given the work put into it. Almost everything is home made from the soups to the sauce. The soups are made every morning from chicken bones aka chicken broth. The sauces are all home made. The chicken and beef are all hand sliced, the broccoli is hand chopped, the rice is cooked fresh like twice a day, the lo mein is packaged fresh from wholesalers, not dried pasta shyt. The ribs are home made, the pork that they use in the fried rice and lo mein is home made. The only thing that is not homemade is the garbage american stuff like frozen nuggets, crab sticks, apple sticks, fries, etc. Find me another restaurant with similar price point where things are made like that, I don't think you can.

You have to know how to order the food to be healthy. Get the chicken broccoli but asked for it steamed with sauce on the side.
