ATL, but rasied in DMV
I've been noticing glitches on their app lately. And today, both their app and their website has been down all day, and still is. This would happen right when it's too late in the month to cancel my A-List membership, leaving me locked in for another month. It's been off and on lately with their fountain machines at my location as well...the H-C juices in particular. Sometimes they're completely warm, or the juice would run out right in the middle of filling my cup. I don't know if somebody's behind a counter somewhere, switching off these fountains on purpose while I'm feeling up my cup, or what. But I wouldn't be surprised, because that's the mindset of a lot of people they be giving these jobs to, including in management.

Anyway, when these fountains malfunction this bad, it's usually late at night towards the end of the last showing. But all this happened when I went to see a 3:00pm movie, during the day. And this time when I got to my seat, the drink had absolutely no sugar, like kool-aid with no flavor. I was pissed because I had to leave the auditorium, and miss some of the movie to get a refill. Now that I think about it, this was when those two machines kept running out of fruit punch, not when I first got to the theater...or maybe it happened at both times. Anyway, this fountain malfunction caused me to miss even more of the movie, which was a flop to begin with. I usually check my drink to make sure it's cold when I first get to the theater, but I didn't this time. If I did, I would have found out much earlier that it had no sugar, while checking if it was cold..

I couldn't even buy my concessions through the app this time, because of the glitches. But things didn't go too bad at the concession bar this time, all though things still went kinda weird. You know, things like cashiers walking to another register when they see me coming, to make me walk farther to reach them etc..., or asking me if I had a ticket, while clearly seeing my cell phone in my hand, instead of just directing me where to scan in my e-ticket. This don't usually happen when I check in, but it did this time. So I didn't even answer, and continued to show the girl my cell phone, so she could scan in my ticket, or direct me to the scanner. But since I didn't answer her, I guess she retaliated, and asked to see my ID this time, meanwhile smiling in my face like a nice Huxtable girl, knowing she was fake. And this time, the girl was overweight, as well as the one at the concession bar, who is always giving me trouble. If the girl that checked me in, and ask for my ID, looked alright, I could have turned it around, and said something like, "Show me your ID", as a flirt line. But no way was I about to do that with her :mjtf:. Anyway, I noticed the theater was kinda empty this time, and I saw no sign of those new fine honeys they recently hired at the concession bar either...it figures.

Anyway, another f***ed up visit at AMC.

Edit: their app is now up. But I still ain't tryna see no "Barbie", or the original "Jurassic Park". I ain't tryna see no "Back on the Strip" neither, all though it's sold out...it figures.

AMC is the lucky theater out of all them too
cineworld(regal) had to declare bankruptcy
cinemark is struggling
the squeeze is what saved AMC for the most part
