That agenda would be heavyIt can work for this generation too. It's so many stories that can mesh well with the current issues we face today.
This show, in my opinion, captures a moment in Blackness that accentuates progress; even when negative things and themes were addressed, it showed an environment with structure, and gave something to strive toward.Again it hits differently as an adult if;
you black
you went to college
and specifically if you attended one of the many great HBCUs across the nation
Outside of that, I can see how it may be a misss for some.
My friends that went to PWA schools can’t relate to my experience and dont share the same since of pride
One of my favorite shows growing up. I need to rewatch.
