I currently work 7-3:30 with a 45min lunch. It's coo, but I would prefer coming in @8 or 9 instead.

Had a 7-4 shift before too with an hour lunch. Not bad when you live less than ten minutes away :lawd:

About to go back to 12-8:30,I hate that shift. Get home at 9:40 and I am tired and get up at 10am.

Its a good shift. No traffic, to or from work, and you have more time to spend with your family before you go to bed. When i come home my 6 month old son looks at me like.

:gladbron:

Then we get alot of hours to play as he absorbs cadences from his mentor, me.

If you live fairly close to your job it's the goat.

People have to get up at 5 for a 7 o'clock shift? :what:

I mean, 5:30 sure, but I'm more likely to get up at like 5:50, and if that's not early enough I'll either move or get another job. I hate wasting time on the commute.

9-5 is the GOAT.

Whenever I work 7-3 I feel too exhausted to do anything later. Plus waking up at 5:30? :why:

I used to work at 7, Id wake about 6 or 6 something, be out the door by 630 and be at work by 7....If I wanted to sleep in, Id set my clock earlier and keep snoozing to give my self the impression of more time.....

the unfortunate part is I was supposed to get off at 5pm because it was a 3.5 - 4 day shift(Sun-Wed) but some days Id get in at 10pm

It was field service so I could pick up breakfast etc after leaving the office, but I just drank protein shakes in the morning mostly...everyone was looking Larry Holmes from bagels, donuts, etc

This is how it has to be for me. I like to be able to get up, hurry up and brush my teeth, throw some clothes on...and still comfortably make it to clock in.

That's not a bad deal if you can handle working a bit harder on less days. A 2 day weekend is so....wack.

I'm at the point where I want that French, 35 hr work week....:manny:

The only part is working in FL heat and sun on installation, those 3 to 3.5 days off was catching up on shyt you couldn't do after work and resting....I had the greatest gym fall off of my life during this time
