This one hurts...Irish is from Vegas like me...she would come to my high school and sing to us in different classes....she sang the best rendition of hero by Mariah Carey I've ever heard to our 5th period health class.....the whole class had chills afterwards and I'll never forget her ...RIP

This was part of that 1999 soundtrack as I chased the remaining GMC RTS buses all over Houston as their long reign began to rapidly wind down over the next two years. 19 fukking 99. That was also the number of one of the aforementioned RTS buses which had been retired that same year.

You could count on 97.9 playing that track seemingly every 15 minutes. As reliable as the old 42 - Holman Crosstown.
