I mean they kinda already doing that anyway, most people I know with new IPhones are on payment plans paying their phone bill and for the actual phone
isn't the phone bill inclusive of the payment for the phone? :gucci:

this is actually retarded. how is that legal?:dwillhuh:

Don't a lot people already finance their phones through the carrier? And I thought Apple already had something like this. Where you paid monthly and can upgrade annually? Unless I'm misunderstanding. It's not for me personally, as I stopped upgrading that frequently but I don't see the problem. If anything it looks like this wouldn't require a credit check/hard pull which is a plus. OP, explain yourself :stopitslime:.
Yeah we got a thread in the Arcadium and people are bringing up the same points
Very few people are paying full price for their phones day 1 and instead have them with the cell phone plans
I’m assuming though this will allow you to switch it out even easier and you’ll do it through the Apple Store so the carriers don’t have full control over the phone if you stop paying for the service

You’re absolutely correct. nikkas just wanna be obtuse though and make dumb threads. If you didn’t buy your phone cash, then you are already doing this every month. Apple is just saying you can do it with Apple directly instead of Verizon or T-Mobile. They already have the program where you can upgrade every year but your payments are still technically financing. This is just expanding that program a little. No news here.

They do technically already do this , just not legally.

when you’re due for an upgrade and don’t , they will still include the phone charges in the bill

This is what I'd assume they'll do.

Take the used leased iPhones once people turn them in for the newest iteration, "refurbish" them, and sell those to the people who don't want to lease their phones nor want to spend 1300+ for a new phone. All out of the Apple Store.

What's to be mad about this? I'm not even an apple person but this shyt is brilliant.
