I've barely used Iphone 4s and 5 and the S3, so my opinion based off my usage of BB10 vs other phones is this.
1. Keyboard/texting is a couple steps down from a phone with a physical, but FOR ME is the best virtual keyboard I've used. As far as holding the phone with two hands and even one hand. The predictive text swiping is very handy as well. I have not mastered texting while driving like I did with my BB torch though, lol but I have been using the voice-to-text function which works remarkably well (probably 85% of the time it gets the message right on the first go around).
2. downloaded a few apps/games and they all work well. I don't use whatsapp or IG but they are available but I've heard they are not on par with iphone or android.
3. Battery, coming from the torch the battery sucks. I have wifi on, mobile service on, and have been using the phone to surf, play games, mess with a pps, text, call, and email so definitely medium usage and I probably get 8 hours-12 hours before it's time to recharge. Last night I left it off the charger and my battery died 30 minutes ago, so 8 hours of sleep and 8 hours of medium usage and battery was dead for me.
4. Gesture interface , is unique, works well in most areas and needs some improvements in others. Like in the phone app, if I decide I rather text someone I need to swipe back to the messaging hub instead I would like the option to text out of the phone app while the # is there (maybe there's another way to do it that I haven' figured out yet). Outside of that, it works good for me. I'm always one swipe away from the home screen.
5. Camera has worked well, but I haven't messed around with the timeshift function too much. I read low light can be an issue but that's what flash is for lol.
6. Looks, I put a white skin on it and EVERYONE loves the phone and can't believe its a BB. Couple people said it looks good but "why would you get a blackberry"...so it's not the looks or the usability it's the Brand that people seem to be hung up on.
I highly doubt you will get a Z10 and say this is remarkably lower grade than what I get from Iphone or Android.
