You are on point...I know so many people that developed that bougie mentality and became c00ns and didn't even know it. I had when black people try to act like they are progressive and conscious when their thinking is really damaging the black community at large. We want to integrate into the white community so much, we don't think about how we can collectively as educated black people we can come together.

EX; I live in Sugar Land right outside of Houston. South Asians and Middle Easterners have made it a point to come together and move to that part of town, buying houses like crazy and setting up business to serve their own community. They have a large say in their education and resources in the city because they are a large tax base and cacs have to respect that. They leased a lot space for businesses and they hire their own. Try going to an Indo-Pak supermarket and see if they will hire a black person. Heck, they won't even hire a cac.

You see these people want and see the benefit of not truly integrating with cacs. We have so conditioned about wanting to be accepted by cacs we forgot what we were fighting for. TO BE TREATED EQUALLY. We didn't need integration. The thing is heartless black leaders of today are too scared or too dumb to call things like they are in this country, Instead they wait for some racial incident to happen to come out and not deal with the larger issue at hand.

I totally disagree with that. More black women have a problem with interracial dating than black men do. Its a huge double standard in the black community. Be honest. If a black woman dates a white dude, nobody better say shyt to her. Many black women will cuss u out for questioning her choices.

But on the flip side when some black women see BM with WW. There is this huge shaming and guilt tactic done. nikkaz get called sellouts, BW will say we hate our mama, or our mama is black and all kminda shyt like that.

Good point. I think people feel that you can't be down with black causes if you are with a white person. Paula Patton is married to Robin Thicke, I never had a problem with it and in many interviews Thicke says that she schooled him on a lot things that black people go through and he had to recognize game. She never gave off that vibe...she just happened to fall in love with white dude and thats okay. But her son though

In more recent times, you have seen BW/WM relationships gain popularity. If you dont think that has black men feeling a certain way, then you're not paying attention. there aren't that many latina/black male relationships at all. The marriage between that pairing doesn't even make up a percent most latina women think black men are gross. why the hell would you want them?

No Black men do feel a certain way about interracial dating when it comes to Black women , Hence the 5 star threads on Isha Sesay and Rutina Wesley this week. The few Black women that are interracial relationships are shamed with that Bed wench talk by some Black men.... In DC, these c00n Blacks know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the Black struggle. They might have read a history book with two chapters on slavery and civil rights but a lot of Blacks just don't talk about it, try to move on and continue with their life but it's like sweeping shyt under the bed for a long time and now your bed is unstable and you are wondering way. You don't know. You blame everything else but you sweeping shyt under the bed. The shyt has to be addressed. That's the dilemma I see with a lot of DC folk especially women like Murder. In her mind, if you Black and not trying to be like Hill Harper or Barack Obama, you ain't worth shyt for her. Her ideal Black man is one that is fully acceptable into White society with the ability to pay her bills and buy her material goods which basically eliminates young Barack and young Hill as those two were broke in their 20's. The new paradigm that is killing us is this delusion that we have integrated in this society as both Black men and women. It's tragic what's going on. It's a mix of Stockholm, delusion of grandeur, miseducation, self-hatred, and a lack of caring combining and creating an atomic bomb within your braincells.

The only thing we have done is let them take our best talents and exploit it for their gain. That's the only thing that happened. We didn't integrate. We just got exploited and lost everything. What this is called is bankruptcy.

That is recent history...just like I said before the 1980s only a handful of black men were in relationships with white women. Many times these were foreign white women just like in the case of Chubby Checker and Quincy Jones. These relationships were really low key back in the day and usually in more liberal cities like San Francisco, LA, Minneapolis, and Seattle...especially in the 1960s and 70s. We don't need stats to tell us that black men are dating white women at a high rate TODAY...i can step outside my house and see that. The younger generation is approaching Western Euro levels when it comes to interracial dating.
