That would grow to be too massive though. The way your wording it sounds like literally every topic could be posted in here. I was thinking more along the lines of direct contact with the government as opposed to all of the wider policy issues. That will become too cluttered.

On conservative forums they are always eager to debate the "facts" and hear opposition. On liberal sites, it's stfu, log off, or you don't love kids

That's probably true.
I bet a traumatic experience can make someone go far left or far right depending on who they blame.
