Does anyone know the study I'm thinking about that shows crime being concentrated in "urban city centers" and that the crime doesn't follow when the urban city population moves to more suburban areas?

Shouldnt have been hanging out in Troy
It's an extremely well known study, I learned it in my Justice and Administration class. As you said, crime isn't about skin color. I believe the study took place in Chicago when they had a lot of immigration to the urban city centers from people out of country, and when those people built enough wealth to move the crime didn't follow them. Crime seems to be about poverty and environment. There are environments that are much more conducive to crime than others, and Urban city centers seem to be that type of environment.Never heard of it, but I can see why that would make sense.
Always said it's not a color that does crime, it's usually a class. I lived 3 doors down from a Trailer Park, and those were some poor white folks in there, I seen dudes set whole trailers ablaze.
This is what happened to YOU.
If you read any of my posts I said countless times that blacks deal with more BS from police than whites do.
Do some reading before you go on ranting and raving. My only point was that white people get harassed and abused by the cops as well. It's not a exclusive thing that only happens to black folks.
I think the nature of the job makes them constantly suspicious. One of my highschool math teachers said he had to stop being a police officer because of the way it made him change his thinking and the way he treated other people. I got out of my buddies car about a year ago at the student apartments where there are always cops and we got questioned for like 10 minutes because I got out and there was a Wiz Khalifa song playing in the car. Cops said I smelled like weed and asked if I had been smoking or if we had weed. I hadn't smoked that entire day and neither of us had weed I was just like told them no and asked if we were free to go and they let us, but they were trying to search my friends car and everything for no reason.cops seem to think everyone is involved in some kind of criminal mastermind shyt

god damn man.. just that trailer sent chills up my spine. What a colossal waste of time, resources and human potential.. I'm definitely going to peep this. Cops are completely disconnected from the people they serve now.. there is just so many people.this doc talks a lot about the relationship between police and communities
