Been in that situation, and had my head slammed on a card hood by a police officer.

They did arrest 25 individuals that day though, but me being white didn't save me from anything.

I'm saying judging by looks they place some young white men in the same category as ALL black men. You said you have long hair and a beard, that's not exactly the clean whiteboy look. But if it comes down to it your skin color still earns you the benefit of the doubt.

At the time of that incident I didn't have long hair.

But I would still be white though right? Shouldn't I have had the priveledge?

I`m not saying that black people don't get harassed by the cops over bullshyt, and I believe they do more than whites, but the reality is white people also deal with the same bullshyt. We are not exempt.

I`m a lower-middle class white male from rural Hudson Valley NY, and I`m almost sure I went through more bullshyt with police than a lot of folks in here.

I`m not ignoring them, BRUH I`m flat out saying blacks do get harassed by police more than whites. Don't hit me with that "You have to be black to understand". Because if you read my post I fully understand, I think you're the one who is lacking understanding here.

It's 100% ignorant to think that white people don't also get harassed by police officers. You can switch it all you want, spin it to "That happened to you cause you had a beard". That's just dismissing the fact.

I was in my hometown of New Paltz, NY. Was trying to put my sweater around my best friend who just been stabbed, cops knew me and him, they still bum rushed me slammed my head on the car hood tied me up with them plastic zipties and stuffed me in the back of the cop car for 2+ hours while a damn riot ensured afterwards.

I chalk it up to those fukkers not knowing how to handle a real situation being small town cops, but I was never so angry in my life after that happened. Got to court, all charges mysteriously not filed, on damn near everyone they arrested that night

Funny thing is, my town is real nice. Beautiful place to live.

Problem is, it's small town cops and it has a SUNY University in it. All those cops are used to dealing with is nitwit college kids with noise complaints and public urination.

When something real goes down, they're lost.
