Ain’t shyt obvious. That's for these 3 titles and terms obviously since the Spiderman deal was almost a decade ago and they see the success so Marvel Games wants a bigger cut.
6 million in the first year for the major title is VERY conservative number given the success of the Spiderman games to terminate the agreement. They'll hit that easily in their sleep. Both sides obviously know this.
So 621 million for 3 main X-Games (Wolvie, XMen, and XMen 3). 207 million per title and that number includes licensing/marketing. VERY interesting. That makes these major motion picture marketing numbers cats are spewing (100 mill plus) complete garbage since Insomniac is budgeting 30 mill for marketing. What's not adding up is this 305 million they have for total costs in that other slide if they are budgeting 207 million for costs here. What is the extra hundred mill for?
You're gonna be hard pressed to find physical copies of Wolverine from I'm seeing. Retail stores get 30% of the cut which gives Sony around 50 bucks a copy of physical. With digital, they get 100%. We know which direction they're going to lean.
Regardless, they plan on making major bread with this and know they will.
