Literally shows off next gen new games. And didn't even touch there 1st party stuff yet

this is my personal opinion. No trolling, no console hate.

when you develop a game for previous gen and for current gen, the development suffers. Two complete different hardwares even though same branding, takes away many hours developers could be putting towards really focusing on the new generation. This is why consoles always fall behind because they try to bring everyone along on every journey. You can't bring everyone when trying to advance technology. Trying to appease everyone by releasing games on prior gen and new gen is a failed mission to me and a desperate money grab. This goes for both Sony and Microsoft. They're basically holding back the true potential of their new hardware in the new PS5 and Xbox by optimizing the game for a decade old hardware in PS4 and Xbox1x. As a consumer yall should be upset about this. They're not selling you the full potential. Focus on the game for 1 system to reach its max gameplay and performance peak. These games are buggy as shyt now and need constant updates because developers are spreading themselves too thin trying to code a game for so many systems with different hardware.

They didn't make Mario 64 for Super Nintendo, if you get what im saying..

Yeah........this was weak.

I think Microsoft is trying to capitalize on Sony's radio silence, along with there being a void left by damn near everything being cancelled, and have overplayed their hand a little.

They basically took the "And we're working with a great set of third party developers" section of their E3 briefing, and broke it out into its own thing when it didn't need to be. Especially since there was next to no actual gameplay shown, despite being a "gameplay" stream.

One thing's certain, though. This is maybe the weirdest, and oddly underwhelming launches for a new generation of consoles to date.

As long as they keep developing games that have to work on the Xbox one and that crappy CPU it's going to continue to look like last gen games but prettier

Yeah there's always a transition period.

Last time around we had Ryse and eventually Order 1886 that finally gave us the next gen game feeling, but the other games were mostly games that were already on 360/PS3 but ported up.

whyd they start this so early on west coast time ? usually 10 am or 12 pm is standard for west coast time

looks impressive, some games the FPS look choppy in previews and some look 30 fps

have they announced all games will be 60 fps ?

also I was actually kinda hyped about the dinosaur game being Turok.. but its just something else.. can they not make new Turoks anymore ? Legal issues or something ?
