That was the big homey.
I always felt like he did the best interviews with actors because he understood the craft so well and was so passionate about it. You would learn a lot about the actors in ways a typical interview wouldn't reveal because no one was as thorough in their research and would dedicate the time to come up with something deeper than the typical bullshyt questions. He also had a great way of making an actor let their guard down and get thoughtful answers.
