Not following this, but cliffs on why everyone in this thread seems bummed out?

I thought the passage of this bill was a good thing?

The Build Back Better plan which helps regular joes was supposed to be passed at the same time. But the progressives caved like the pussies they are.

It’s disgusting.

Progressives have no more leverage for their social spending bill so basically they’re relying on the rest of their party negotiating in good faith

Lobbyists are about to have a field day

So the Build Back Better bill is for social programs, while this bill is infrastructure?

Flip a coin on which one is more important? Or does one do more than the other? I thought Biden ran on fixing America's infrastructure.

You should read up on what is in this infrastructure plan instead of telling us why we should feel good about it.

I felt that way too but after seeing what I have seen from Democrats — there’s no way party leadership wouldn’t blame them and basically fukk them over in the midterms. If BBB is dead then they’re basically accepting monumental primary losses and for a generation of younger voters to tune them out for decades. We will see.
I always say come out and make the case, but they aren't good at simple slogans.

Also, Biden had no interest in advocating for BBB. He didn't fight against it, but the man hid in the White House the last three months.

Jesus Christ man. I am asking a fukking question. Stop acting like everything is a fukking agenda. In fact, forget it.
There are posts on here that tell you what's in the bill and why some people are upset, but you decided to concern troll. Do some reading and find out. That's what people do, but you decided not too.

fukk you and fukk your assumptions. I was to lazy to read 10 pages. I asked for cliffs. My bad for not reading. For that I apologize. However, you totally misread my questions and are making assumptions. You can fukk off.

Let me get out of this thread. Didn't mean to distract.

The infrastructure plan is important, but not as important as the BBB for regular joes. A lot of the infrastructure money goes to the private sector. So it’s a slap to the American people and progressives to not pass one, but not the other.
