I’m glad the Dems are leaving the filibuster alone. All they would do is give the GOP another tool to ram their agenda through with. As evidenced by Dems general incompetence and propensity for creating circular firing squads.
I want most of Biden’s agenda to pass, but there’s some merit to the idea that Dems don’t have the mandate they think they do. Because if they did they’d have a supermajority and two senators wouldn’t be able to hold it up.
And I think they lost before they started by not having a realistic understanding of the field of play. Remember when Biden was FDR on day 2 of his presidency? Lol.
