bush them all boomer politicians with term limits, inability to trade stock, ineligible to work as lobbyist for 3 years post leaving office.

At this point, this is the only way outside of killing them to get them to leave.

We need young people who actually care about the environment, future, etc....anything other than plain greed.

This shyt is gonna flop like Clinton’s health care reform push in his first term. Clinton won a second term with the economy in good shape and Bob Dole having the personality of a cardboard box. 2024 is gonna be a close and likely contested election again. Barring any unknown black swan event from now till 2024 the economy should fully be fully recovered by 2023. If it’s booming into 2024 Biden should eke out a victory. Reason it could get close because did the voter suppression laws passed GOP state legislatures. Plus decreased enthusiasm. Margins matter so it will be too close to comfort. But the key for Biden would be campaign in the Midwest and keep it in his pocket. Anyway I’m just rambling and 2024 is still faraway. Anything can happen from now till then. But not passing these two bills will be a major setback for Biden and the Democratic agenda.

Turns out Manchin and Sinema are the only two 'rational reasonable' senators, according to Manchin himself. :unimpressed:

And Manu Raju is basically Manchin's personal press secretary, so of course he doesn't challenge Manchin on the fact that the bill polls well with his own constituents, nor the fact that the the '52 senators' he's included himself in helped incite the insurrection and don't even consider Biden to be the real president. :unimpressed:

Republicans suck and they're holding up legislation that would benefit their constituents as well. Not even willing to negotiate.

The truth is they are a bigger problem than Manchin and Sinema.

But as @88m3 always says, HL likes to pretend they aren't a problem as well.

No one likes to pretend anything. Mentioning Republicans is a diversion. They have held the line on opposing everything Democrat for 13 years. We expect nothing from them.

Fam, he blamed progressives for not passing the bill a few weeks ago. He is not a serious character and is here to troll.
