Uncertain grounds
Dems

He won't even have to do that.

Mitch isn't bringing any of that shyt to a vote. :mjlol:

Might be good politics to though when he knows it wont pass. If I was majority leader and I knew opposing legislation wouldnt pass I'd put it to vote then use it as ammo for the party that the opposing agenda was soundly rejected by the people.

Better than I was expecting but I am worried about Gottheimer. Dude's all the worst bits of Jersey politics rolled into one opportunistic a-hole.

Drop the student loan forgiveness as soon as they make this pass.

I also like how the repubs said they would tank the chip bill if they do this, and they kept it secret and announced it as soon as the chip bill passed.
Yeah

It looks like Manchin killing the climate provisions was all a ruse coordinates with Schumer to get the CHIPs Act through

Republicans are mad

I've trashed Schumer's leadership a lot, but if he pulls this off it's the absolute most tactful he's been and I genuinely gotta give him his props for that.

With that said, Schumer and Biden should have taken Manchin’s alleged $1.8T offer in December and passed it right before New Year

It should be lifted
Every NJ homeowner I've ever met treats SALT as sacred. Not sacred enough that they'd turn on Trump when he messed with it though. But they make enough noise about it that I don't trust NJ reps to be team players. I thought Gottheimer would jump on it before Menendez though. Menendez does his snake stuff more sneakily.
