Why can't the house just pass a string of focused individual bills and have the senate vote? Is time the issue?
hate that mfPhillip Buster.
Why wouldn’t Nelson would have sided with Manchin?
that’s why the “We nEeD moAr DeMOcrAtz” isn’t going to suffice it.
At some point we need to seriously discuss how 'progressives' in Congress are no different from establishment Democrats.
They're every bit as weak, ineffectual and bad at politics as people complain about with establishment Dems.

Bernie would have lost to Trump. Stay off twitter.Obama is a lanky ass trash can. His presidency started aging like dog shyt in the sun as soon as left office. He couldn’t even just make millions with Netflix and speaking engagements and all that. He had to put the G call to stop Big Brrrrn after New Hampshire and Nevada. Look what that got us. All this is part of his legacy. I can’t believe I used to stan then tacitly defend this bytch ass mulattomeleonaire for so long. Just keep putting out end of year lists of a bunch of songs you never heard you got some donor from Sony music to send you.

look at the poll on this thread. why did so many vote no?
The big picture: The Squad's argument is that the bipartisan infrastructure bill is the beginning of transformational change — not the end.
- Ocasi0-Cortez and Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) say they weren't willing to vote for it without an assurance of passing the larger, $1.75 trillion "Build Back Better" social spending package.
- Joining them in the no-votes were Reps. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) and Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.).
- Critics have complained they let the perfect become the enemy of the good. An AOC spokesperson declined comment beyond her tweets.
There was talk that 7-8 Democratic senators were not all the way in on the BBB a few months ago.Nelson didn't mess up Obamacare though, he's not Manchin or Sinema and the dynamics in 51-49 are dramatically different.
That b*stard Cal Cunningham also needs that smoke
