:yeshrug: but I'm not sure how that would really benefit anybody, Republicans will just have a new talking point bytching about executive overreach
Let them.

Its something popular, people want it and the president has the power to do it. If the court rescinds that, then people will start getting engaged and demanding more out of anger. Its a bytch move to not do it because you are afraid the courts will rescind it.

The Congressional Budget Office will publish a complete cost estimate for H.R. 5376, the Build Back Better Act (Rules Committee Print 117-18 incorporating a manager’s amendment by Congressman Yarmuth), this afternoon.

CBO has also published 11 estimates for individual titles of the bill. This afternoon, we will publish estimates for the remaining titles: title XIII, Committee on Ways and Means; and title VI, Committee on the Judiciary.

The complete estimate will be published when the estimate for the last remaining title is posted.

All of CBO’s estimates related to H.R. 5376 can be found here.

About us taking money from Defense? Yes, I know it's not going to happen.

But whatever, cutting $16B a year from BBB is reasonable
Outline what you’re willing to cut. I’m just making sure you’re not just spitballing. Also be aware that this hill is already one third of the original bill. It’s literally 1/6 of what progressives would’ve suggested. So if you’re going to say cut more you better be prepared to point out where.

Don’t believe the hype of that weirdo @wire28
