These arguments operate under the false assumption that campaign proposals are hard lines.

Just say you hate that a moderate president is passing moderate bills in a moderate country and spare us the histrionics.
Just from a practical standpoint.

Say you have a job and you're guaranteed that job, pay, and benefits for six years.

In the first year your boss who is only guaranteed four years tries to bully you into doing what they want with no input from you...

Swagel was my professor at University of Maryland. As soon as I looked up his work online, I came with the right questions in class :mjpls:

This is a losing argument that only appeals to academic types.

All the common man sees is people saying they should ignore CBO scores after four years of pointing to them as to why conservative bills shouldn't be passed because now, they're afraid the CBO scores aren't going to be kind to their agenda.

I guess this can be the pass to cover one's ass when they propose pedestrian plans and let it be disintegrated by your own party members. :lolbron:

I already let this be known. :skip:

Who would challenge it?

Take your pick of any Republican looking for some clout.

But the court is 6-3 conservative so I don't really have any doubt they would find some reason to strike down executive orders from Biden.
