That's fine. And im Cool with people feeling this pieces of legislation fell short of what was pitched because that's the reality. :manny:

Then what are you going to do beyond critique? :manny:
Not having the answer yet does not deprive one of the right to point out the problem. If I come to investigate a rodent problem in your house and determine that they are coming in through the vents but don’t know how close the vents yet - that doesn’t mean I failed to identify the problem. And it doesn’t mean I can’t warn other people against getting that same ventilation system.

I don’t know, but whatever move it is, I am not running to politicians to solve it.

Build Back Better Cost Would Double with Extensions

I personally don't care, I believe that military spending is $8T over 10 years and no one bats an eye or asks how to pay for it.

But, this is definitely going to be a talking point.

I haven't yet dug into it to see which provisions are most likely to be extended...

The Congressional Budget Office anticipates publishing a complete cost estimate for H.R. 5376, the Build Back Better Act (Rules Committee Print 117-18 incorporating a manager’s amendment by Congressman Yarmuth), by the end of the day on Friday, November 19. The estimate will be published on CBO’s website.

CBO also began publishing estimates for individual titles of the bill on November 10 and has published six so far. The remaining seven estimates will be published this week as follows:

  • Monday, November 15—Title I, Committee on Agriculture; Title IV, Committee on Financial Services.
  • By Friday, November 19—Title II, Committee on Education and Labor; Title III, Committee on Energy and Commerce; Title VI, Committee on the Judiciary; Title VII, Committee on Natural Resources; and Title XIII, Committee on Ways and Means.
All of CBO’s estimates related to H.R. 5376 can be found here.

The couple I looked at so far are slightly over budget.

If the Dems don't balance this and get it done I'll be highly disappointed with the party.

Edit...actually I think I looked at it wrong. Looks like all the shyt they've posted so far is just how much it's going to cost...not if it's paid for yet...
