In the original press release Sanders mentioned the cost one time and then dedicated two pages to the policy. It’s not their fault that the media focused on that on a way they never do it to Republicans. At no point from then till now have they attempted to stress the top line was spread out over a 10 year period, regardless of who may have originated the top line talking point. That is the issue and how they've made themselves susceptible to attacks on spending and the deficit. This is a fact that even very liberal pundits at Crooked Media have even been pointing out.
