704. Formerly 212 and 843.
1. Why do you automatically think bipartisanship is good? Of anything its bad bc ANY law Republicans produce is bound to be terrible.
2. Are you cool with the amount of corporate handouts in this bill?
3. Do you think $1.7 trillion is enough to fix our infrastructure?
4. Are you cool with the fact that the other actually GOOD bill is effectively dead now that progressives have no leverage?

Biden needs a win of some of sort for optic purposes and that's pretty much it. The Center-Right Dems can just kicked the can and how far that can goes depends how the outcome of the mid-terms.

Ah..i see... So we're waiting for the CBO now?

Democrats are running out of time to pass the Build Back Better Act
It could take as much as two weeks for the House to get a CBO score on the bill, something the Senate is also waiting on for the budget reconciliation process. The deal struck between progressives and moderates projected CBO data would come by November 15

Any delays in getting that score could pose a problem for getting the Build Back Better Act passed before the year is over — or even before next spring, when lawmakers will begin to turn their attention to the 2022 midterm election

Congress will be on recess for two weeks in November and out again in the second half of December. Should the CBO score come in two weeks, lawmakers would receive it right before leaving Washington for the Thanksgiving recess. After returning from that break, lawmakers would have roughly 10 legislative days left before their winter recess to get the bill through the House and Senates

:laff: your enemy? white trash voters are voting for marjorie taylor green :stopitslime:

im a right wing democrat. and i was the one pushing biden in january, while latte-sipping, 50-gender liberals like you were pushing losers like bernie and warren :mjlol:. shout out to jim clyburn :salute:

you don't seem to get it that progressives are maybe a third of the democrats. so that means 5/6 of americans are NOT ELECTING PROGRESSIVES. america's not buying what the far left is selling. getting emotional and lashing out on the internet isn't gonna change that

and for the record, The Squad are fukking clowns for not voting for this. there's tons of green shyt in this bill that THEY asked for :dead:

So... predictions on the CBO score reaction?

If it's paid for do we expect a vote before the year is done?

If it isn't for will progressives quickly cut a few M's off the price tag? Would those cuts be accepted?

Is this all mute because the Senate not gonna go for BBB regardless?

What's Manchin's position on BBB?

Manchin and Sinema don't actually want BBB to pass, so I expect they'll come up with some excuse not to vote for it regardless. :yeshrug:

The House will vote on it before Thanksgiving

The issue is passing the Senate and after that it will need to pass the House to get to Biden's desk

"Expanding Child Tax Credit is wildly popular and could cut child poverty by 40%, it's crazy to cut this out of the bill :mindblown:"

Higher Learning pragmatists: need to do what we need to do to get this bill over the line :manny:

"Medicare expansion and lower prescription prices are not only wildly popular but would immediately help 45% of people who sometimes have to skip out on their medication, it would be ridiculous to cut this out of the bill :mindblown:"

Higher Learning pragmatists: tough luck, need to do what we need to do to get this bill over the line :manny:

"$400 billion of the $475 billion of SALT repeal would go to the top 5% and would be the costliest part of the bill, maybe we can do something about this part of the bill :ld:"

Higher Learning pragmatists: YOU'RE REALLY OUT OF TOUCH, I OWN MULTIPLE PROPERTIES. THIS IS BAD POLITICS
