I used to work as a cook for Sodexo and the free lunches we prepared for students were actually decent and would actually fill them up.

Theyd get an entree, vegetables, fruit and white or chocolate milk.

First giveaway that it's duck, is that the trays are all the same........second giveaway are the portion sizes......euros and asians don't eat big portions for meals like we do here.

The kids certainly deserve better. From the parents that have them .any parent that depends on a public school to give them the only good meal of the day shouldn’t be parents. There’s all kinds of ways to get food, and get it free/cheap. Relying on some school lunch as a means for your child’s best hope of nourishment is asinine. Food banks. Food stamps. Other assistance programs. Dumpster diving behind a Whole Foods or any supermarket if it’s that serious. They throw away all kinds of healthy and plenty edible food items daily.
