This was total garbage BUT at least they immediately fired this prick and arrested him for assault. It isn't enough and he probably won't even face real time, but it's a step in the right direction.

firing somebody from the police force is nothing. he still gets to walk around able to find another job while the man that he paralyzed can't do shyt and could possibly die from what happened to him. his ass should be charged with attempted murder and given the max which would probably be a minimum of 20 years or life. it would certainly make these police officers chill out for a bit when they realize that they could get the book throw at them like everybody else in society. why should they be different especially if they're engaging in criminal activity themselves?
