My family has guns......but white people in Alabama are not about to start anything with black people because the state is about 45/45 black and white with the other 10 being everybody else. It's those isolated situations when some idiot, or group of idiots might catch somebody on their own like this old man.

When I think of progressive, I like to think of an increasing reform from the current mindset that is of Alabama...

Madison County gets touted as one of the most "diverse" cities in the country due to the type of people its military connections and NASA research facilities bring in...I think over 30% of the population are transplants and there is a strong professional Indian, and East Asian population there as well


But once you start to really spend time in Madison, it becomes clearer that even though a lot of the faces don't look like classic Alabamians, the mindset is still more Good Ol Boy south than anything else...

But if you wanna raise a family and stack some gwap, its definitely a place to look into..... It's just so freakin soulless and sterile....

It shows everybody what black people around here have been knowing for a long time, but other minorities have their eyes opened now about the silliness running through a lot of white people's heads. I know some cool white people that I don't mind being around, but with most I don't care what they think. There's a lot of people of other ethnicities moving to this area, and we just have to do a better job of being the way we are suppose to be towards others.

unfortunately I find a lot of America to be that way. America is really white and suburban for the most part.
