i'm not indian, but my philosophy is if the $5 isn't a big deal then the dealership would relent right there. but it is a big deal to them at the time and that's why they allowed you all to walk. if it's a big deal to them it should be a big deal to you. fukk their gross, they get enough suckers coming in on a daily basis they make up the difference on them.

another thing in a similar vein is at the grocery store i'm checking out and the cashier overcharges me by like 25 cents and i point it out and they always have a look like damn it's only a quarter and i point out to them that if something costs a $1 and i offer to pay them $0.75 they'll say no it's a $1. if it's a big deal to them it's a big deal to me. my after tax income belongs to me and i decide how i want to part with it.

Cashier asks, "would you like to donate your change of .27 to so and so kids fund". Change? What change? I'm paying with a credit card.

Black women typically have degrees (including advanced degrees) in lower-paying disciplines--sociology, psychology, etc.. That's not to say our women aren't racking up degrees. They are definitely doing that. But, they're not flocking toward engineering, computer science, etc. the way Indian women are. They aren't racking up advanced degrees in the shyt that is going to make a $130K+ salary.

We're not adequately represented in all industries. Have you seen the diversity numbers for Google, Facebook, etc.?

I'm a software engineer so I know.....a lot of Indians.
You have to realize the Indians coming here are coming to high paying jobs already lined up via H1 visas or something similar
Or they are coming for university to earn STEM degree.
The 80s and 90s era of all Indians being cab drivers and qwik e mart workers is over. A lot of them saw the opportunity in tech and got on it while we slept.
Now India itself is FULL of poor illiterate people. Their illiteracy rate is crazy, it's just that when you have a billion ppl a lot of them are going to be smart and driven and if you take the best it's going to be huge numbers of skilled hustlers arriving which skews our perception of their people as a whole.

Thing is, if black people as a whole deified tech, it wouldn't be difficult for us to completely dominate the industry. It's just the field itself is undesirable / unpopular to us for various reasons.

I bet if a really popular, fly, black tech mogul materialized nikkas would be flocking to the industry.

Anyways, I definitely respect the indian brehs for going hard at it. Tech is lucrative but you have to be very methodical, and as meritocratic as we'd like to believe the industry is contacts still do play a large role. That's where we as underrepresented minorities in the industry are truly fukked.

It is not that they value education and business.

95% of all Indian immigrants are upper class highly educated foreigners. These guys are basically IVY LEAGUE. Same with Chinese immigrants. They come here to make even more then they would in india and china.

This is why damn near 50% of all doctors in the US are indian. They also have some pretty interesting franchises they swindled into the american dream like Dunkin Donuts. Seems american but its 100% indian owned and operated.

95% way too high of a percentage....
