Chinas most popular sport is basketball or soccer depending how you define it and they are complete ass at both and haven’t qualified for a soccer World Cup since 2002 despite being in the second weakest region in the world.


I’m sure if you ask any Indian what they would rather win, cricket or sychronized artistic swimming, they’d choose cricket. Same as your average Chinese would much rather have another Yao Ming than the worlds best race walker.
