I hate that name Independence Day: Resurgence. Makes it sound so shytty and straight to Syfy ready.
Can't get mad at the trailer for not showing everything, but damn, I wish it showed us just a wee bit more.
Solid cast. Can't say this is a must see, but hopefully it's at least so bad it's great like Armageddon. If so I'd be happy.

The theater I saw it in had a line wrapped around the block. NOBODY in 96 called ID4 wack, it was an instant Summer Classic. Only "Star Wars Episode I" and the "Matrix Reloaded" got as much hype of "ID4" to me as far as lines and sellouts. That's why I'm mad at Will. Everyone would be on board if Will came back. Sure it could still do good but they lost out by not bringing Will back who made the first movie so memorable even though there were other good characters. Look at these numbers. Almost did a Billion in 96, think about that. It remains Will Smith Highest Grossing Film Ever:

+ Foreign: $511,231,623 62.5%
= Worldwide: $817,400,891
Adjusted for Inflation Domestically, "ID4" made 577 million domestically. With no Will Smith, this one will drop but I think Overseas it will still do well cause they love Disaster movies overseas.
