yeah, I notice whenever you bring up incest in the black community (like in for colored girls & the color purple) it's looked at as shytting on black men but it happens a lot, not saying that every black man does it because there are plenty that don't but more than likely you know multiple black men that are guilty of it.

i think lack of parental supervision is what really causes incest to run rampant.

Growing up there was always a whole gang of adults around. So i never saw incest. Never heard about incest. Even friends of my family who weren't actually related to us wouldn't fool around like that. There was none of these kissing games and that type of shyt when i was coming up. And even to this day i wouldn't fool around with my family friends in a sexual manner, much less my cousins.

But when i got to late middle school/high school i was really shocked by how common incest is in some of these families. You got these huge families with people who hardly watch their kids. And i've heard about so much shyt. Stepfather on daughter. Cousin on cousin. Brother on sister. shyts crazy to me but idk what you expect when you leave kids to raise kids.

i know a female who carried on an incestuous relationship with her own cousins into adulthood. And i'm sure she isn't the only one.

And honestly thats why i avoid dating girls who don't have strict and involved adults in their lives at all times. You can tell by the way a household functions whether or not incest would fly there.

The level of abuse that black women and girls are subjected to at the hands of, what's supposed to be, the black "man" is sickening. Black men aren't the only ones. There are a lot of women how molest people too in the black community.

Unfortunately, this is very true. There are a lot of young black boys who have fallen victim to older black women molesting them. Like Chris Brown for example said he lost his virginity at 8? Like he was proud of that shyt? He was clearly molested and taken advantage of. And now you see how that has affected him in his life thus far.
