That's kinda how the internet works nah? People tend to gravitate or interact with shyt they have an interest, affected by, or can relate to.

You make it seem like every TLR poster ran up in here with a fukking story.. nah nikka, it's small % when you consider the amount of posters on the site. Just because you can't relate to it, doesn't mean it's not happening. Most people aren't affected by it, but to those that are, you just come off as really ignorant.

And the need you feel to differentiate yourself from these "internet nikkas " makes you come off as a try hard... relax.

My dude I said everybody in this fukking story no need to exaggerate. If your stuff is strong it will stand on its own without you having to exaggerate. Since I can't relate am I not doing the same exact thing people like you on the opposite side are doing and speaking from what I know or is that only cool,when it agrees with you? I don't feel the need the differentiate myself because I'm on here as well but at times its stuff that happens mainly online that is moreso Internet type stuff. Describe "a lot". You mean in comparison to other groups or in comparison to "not happening at all"? You say "plenty of black men" do after saying "not every black man" which are particularly strong words if you don't realize it. Thats insinuating that there is a what, a quarter of ALL black men having incestuous relationships in their household? I don't want to put words in your mouth, I just ask you to be very specific about what you are saying because it is a particularly damaging statement. Of course it happens unfortunately, but "plenty" compared to an entire population? I don't even think it happens that frequent in the demographic that it happens most often in. I just want clarity on what your view is, regardless if I agree or not.

It happens a lot, as in "more than it should."
Plenty of Black men do it, in the same way that "plenty of White men" do it, though the stigma is often higher in Black, particularly poor Black communities.
The men are also much less likely to go to prison for it.
There are a lot of women involved too, the same as in any other ethnicity, race, or nationality.
Everyone who grew up in the hood knows about a "man to watch out for." And he's related to somebody.
We seem to be oddly insular in that regard, but not in any helpful ways.

Sometimes I sit and think about how blessed I am that non of my uncles or male cousins who I adore never did anything to hurt me seeing that I spent a lot of alone with them. But I know of several cases were incest has happened. Whenever I find out something like this about someone I go out of my way to look at them with . Incest and child molestation is a horrible vile thing, but it happens everywhere you can find human beings. To try to paint incest or child molestation as a 'black issue' is not only stupid but irresponsible.

I know it happens but how everybody in this thread that agree gots tons if stories on it I just can't ride with that sorry. I've never looked up the numbers but I'd be hard pressed to think this is some epidemic well at least by being surrounded by people I come into contact with that aren't turned on by or doing stuff like that. I'm actually writing a book using random women's experience. Getting women to tell their experiences can be difficult even years later.

I say if you place 20 women in a room, 5-6 have an incident.

I've only talked to victims, not to people that did it and it's easier to talk to a female about it so obviously more people would be comfortable with telling me.
