It happens in our community just like it happens in all communities.

The hood is prime breeding grounds for this. You hear about nikkas runnin trains on young girls or molesting the children of the women they stay with. Call it out, separate the chafe from the wheat. Extirpate them from our community. Don't associate these sick b*stards with the blk men who aren't engaging in this sickness.

Why segregate? What kind of mindset do you have? To me black is black and like I stated what occurred is beyond a tragedy. I care about black males and females but to go on like all black males are engaging in this on a regular is wrong. It is a discussion that needs to be discussed in the community but it's not a case of every black male is out there fiddling some relative.

Talking about it doesn't mean that were making it seem like all black men do it, not talking about it just protects the people that are doing it. No one is saying all black men do it. It's sad that whenever the topic is brought up everyone jumps up to silence it. There are so many black females (and males) dealing with it but no one is allowed to talk about it.

I can't speak to other racial groups because I don't have a lot of friends of other races that I could talk to about things of this nature; however, a large portion of the women I know well enough to talk about such matters were "messed with" as a child. Most often it was an older cousin. Most of them did not tell anyone. One recently (finally) told her dad and he was soooooo pissed that he didn't know.

I also believe that many black boys are abused by men and women, but would probably never tell anyone either.

yeah, I notice whenever you bring up incest in the black community (like in for colored girls & the color purple) it's looked at as shytting on black men but it happens a lot, not saying that every black man does it because there are plenty that don't but more than likely you know multiple black men that are guilty of it.

It's sad because they will refuse to talk about it because it makes black men "look bad" but they don't realize that they're just making it easier to do it and get away with it because no one will want to talk about it.

Reminds me of a post I made in this thread about everyone having stories of other people's fukked up families or experiences, but none of their own.

A few things about this thread:

-The only reason some of this shyt was revealed was because of the anonymity of it all. Just think about the kind of shyt that regular folks you interact with day to day keep in the closet.

-There are a lot of molestation/rape/abuse stories, especially as kids. It's a real eye opener to how prevalent it is, especially in families, but notice how the victims rarely speak out. Another thing is no one here is gonna admit to being a victim/perpetrator or even admit that this type of activity could/may have happened in their family, because of the stigma that comes with it.

That being said, some of the stories in here :dwillhuh::what::whoa::damn::scusthov::sadbron::ooh::merchant::beli::ohhh::mjcry:

A study conducted in 1986 found that 63% of women who had suffered sexual abuse by a family member also reported a rape or attempted rape after the age of 14. Recent studies in 2000, 2002, and 2005 have all concluded similar results (page 8).

Children who had an experience of rape or attempted rape in their adolescent years were 13.7 times more likely to experience rape or attempted rape in their first year of college (page 9).

A child who is the victim of prolonged sexual abuse usually develops low self-esteem, a feeling of worthlessness and an abnormal or distorted view of sex. The child may become withdrawn and mistrustful of adults, and can become suicidal (page 1)

Children who do not live with both parents as well as children living in homes marked by parental discord, divorce, or domestic violence, have a higher risk of being sexually abused (page 171).

It's a very real issue that's often kept on the hush. Even when it's found out it's usually kept within the family and not reported to authorities.

Sometimes when y'all shyt on females for being "thots" or having a high body count or the fukked up shyt they used to do in high school, there's usually a lot more going on than what's shown on the surface.

EDIT:

The last bolded line really hit me hard. I know we go back and forth on this site with the blame game when it comes to kids in the black community, and even though it's mostly jokes it's a VERY VERY real situation for some of these kids. The last thing you want is a single mother bringing dudes around that end up molesting your child. Whether it be a dude she's fukking or one of her family members. I've emphasized this a dozen times before on this site, but nikkas need to watch where they stick their dikks, especially without a condom. These "uh ohhh" kids are the ones that bare the brunt of that one time y'all decided to fukk without a condom or responsibly use birth control. The world is fukked up as it as already, and they didn't ask to be here, and the last thing they need is to be permanently fukked by someone they trust that's supposed to protect them. If that world star thread isn't enough evidence of how quick some nikkas are to fukk without a condom then I don't know what is. If you can't see a potential long term relationship with a female, please try not to fukk raw or if you must, please use some for of birth control. Females get equal blame too, you'd be surprised at how many females will let you hit raw :snoop:

Ok. I disagree that it happens as often as the group we know to perpetrate this kind of action most often. I just don't believe that to be the case. Again, thats not to say that this never happens in the black community either. I do believe it happens more often than people realize because of what you said, brushing it under the rug. But that is not unique to race, it is universal to the act and will not alter numbers generally per group.

I know this does happen because I do take a special active interest in all the women in my life, friends and family alike. But as much as the other group? I cant agree. I guess it bothers me how you word it due to how I quantify the words "plenty, many, a lot..." in comparison to the entirety. Its hard for me to recognize and agree with something I DO agree with you on, when I look at the numeric value of those words differently than you (or most). I would speak directly about what I believe it to be such as "1 out of every..." as to not muddy the waters with subjective words. I DO agree it happens in the black community though and more often then most would like to believe.
:leostare:

I think because I'm a female, women are more open with me so I 'm able to hear about it a lot more. It happens just as much as any other group, breh. You would be shocked. I know just as many white females dealing with it as black females. You guys have to stop looking at it as an attack on black men, that's the only reason why you guys refuse to see it because you see it as someone shytting on black men, downplaying it is just as bad as ignoring it. Most abusers abuse multiple people, so it could be 1 or 2 people in one family doing it.

and this is exactly why it will continue to happen.

but honestly who cares about what happens to black women all that matters is another thing doesn't get thrown black men's way. we don't matter.

You know how many boys are taken advantage by women in their family? if you want to talk about the issue don't act like men are the only ones doing it.

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Disgustingly this happens more than you guys would like to believe. I've gotten close to women who have come from broken homes that have included many older half-brothers and cousins who engage in molestation as well as other incestuous acts. The opposite happens too a lot, don't shun it as propaganda if it's the truth.

Disturbing.

Unfortunately no one likes to talk about this.,... but it happens a lot more than people think......... I've had way too many chicks tell me some horrible stories about their upbringing

And then there were rumors about certain people in my neighborhood when I was growing up...

:wow:

I will say this, watch your young daughters around their hormonal older cousins. Whether they mean it as molestation or not, sometimes younger female relatives are the subject of sexual experimentation when the boy can't experiment with girls his own age. You can take heed to that or not. It's your choice (they are your children).

If black men have similar experiences with older relatives then they should speak on it because it's not something I can speak to.
