The only reason this story is being picked up is because of his position on gay marriage, so-called "trans" rights, and abortion. The real issue is he says stuff like:

A poster on the last page gave the game up about why he’s agreeing with these people. It’s because they share a hatred for certain groups, what they fail to realize is the way they see trans and gays is how whites racists see them. Abominations that don’t deserve rights or to even exist.
