I agree the system is far from perfect, and it does have too many weaknesses that can be exploited by bad actors. But that's why I think we need to fix it rather than further undermine it. And we need everybody taking it seriously to do it. That's why Democrats have to actually put in meaningful effort to improve outreach, push for real reforms, and stop relying on outdated informal handshake agreements when they control congress. The public perception of just being the "lesser evil" won't cut it. Voters also need to better recognize misinformation, avoid falling for misleading narratives, and stop thinking everything is a joke or that nothing matters.
I don't think it can be fixed. It was built to excuse evil even from its inception. Some things do have to collapse when the foundation is too corrupted. Quite like an old house that has started rotting in between the walls and the floor is caving in. Just beyond fixing. The democrats are bound by the system just like the republicans. The difference is that the republicans use the loopholes in the law for their benefit while the democrats follow the laws that makes them look good. One party is very vain while the other is very practical. Us, the people, are being attacked by too much information. Truth is constantly being mixed in with lies. It is too much to ask people to have better discernment. In the good book it is written that "even the elect will be deceived". What does it tell you when even the biblical God's most faithful people are incapable of identifying good and evil?
Btw, thank you for being respectful towards me.
