Black Americans have dealt with the crack epidemic and police brutality in the last 40 years

And that was after 350 years of slavery and Jim crow

We the only people America tried to truly bury and we withstood it all

Only reason other groups do better is cause they never been targets and haven't gotten denied opportunity

So u can't compare anyone to us

Asian, Hispanic, cacs, African and carribean

Come here and get a helping hand before us

That really what it comes down to

There also alot of ados that do well despite all of this

The media just ignores them.

Ah yes, the good old days of Jim Crow segregation :mjpls: :camby:

That's not what it is :mjpls:

Black people worked together back then, had their own businesses, and they had their own schools with Black teachers.

But then some got the bright idea to try to force their way into cac society when cacs already said for centuries that they wanted nothing to do with Black people.

And they also forced their own children to go to white schools to be brainwashed by the same people that tormented Black people for centuries. :mjpls:

And I said it before, but Jewish people would never hand their kids over to nazi run schools.

But Black people proudly marched their own children into the horror show of white only schools to integrate them. Traumatizing them by walking them past crowds of enraged racist cacs just to have their kids brainwashed and tormented.

It makes zero sense.

And it was that destructive philosophy (the desire to integrate with your nemesis and not build on your own to be completely self sufficient) that destroyed Black society.

To the Op look at the majority of responses on the first page. It’s hard to solve a problem if you’re vilified for identifying it. The posters see you as ”breaking code”, and use it as a shaming tactic to allow all kinds of abominations to go unchecked. Hard to even say we have a “community” anymore.

It's disingenuous to juxtapose pictures of middle class black families from yesteryear against the lowest segment of our community today.

The folks at the bottom probably came from families that were like this..

These people look like pre "great migration" folks. Majority of black people live in urban areas with access to education and jobs now. Still mostly poor but it's a different kind of poor if that makes sense, it's entirely possible that those people with the suits on not even middle class. Black people from all classes dressed up like that pre-1960s

REPLACE THIS WITH
THE CRACK EPIDEMIC.

THE NEGATIVE SIDE HIP HOP WAS JUST THE EFFECT OF THAT.

Black people was dealing with heroin long before crack hit the scene, so it wasn't just the drugs. The crack epidemic also had a lot of back stabbing and people falling out over the money made behind the sales of the said drug.

Just as in biology cell is the basic form of life, in terms of society and creating a peaceful one upbringing in two parent households system is vital to raise up responsible youths in the society, broken homes lead to way more crime and prison, we should preach about abstinence way more and go back to heavy emphasis on contraception , promiscuity and focus on sex isn't good for any community or ethnic group in general. Get back to focusing on education, getting a college degree, even a community or local college would be a step in the right direction. A lot of reasons why, and ways to go forward as well.
One more thing all this is meaningless if black folks don't vote and partake in elections right from the county level to congress to presidential elections, there are crucial public policies such as the child tax credit for example which helps struggling working class/low income families with kids and give them cash to cover extra costs and expenditures, biden and democrats passed that public policy into law and it was allowed to expire and not be renewed because of opposition from the republicans in both houses of congress. That right there is a specific tangible public policy that could help working class black families, two parent homes trying to raise children and one party stopped it, so voting is crucial as well, any person saying black people should not vote are fraudsters and con men
