Damn... scrolling through those pics for the flagship Android phones and then looking at the iPhone X... anybody really saying Apple has the best phone design from a hardware standpoint is a stan. No way you look at those joints, then look at the X and say it looks better.

Then it looks like they didn't even fully develop the UI to blend in with the cutout at the top, so a lot of the apps just have that weird ass black bar in the middle of the top of the phone, with the apps/image leaking to the corners

I think it's more everyone else catching up and that's not a knock on Apple. Android designs were shyt until the HTC M7 and Samsung's pushed the envelope further since the S6.

The worst looking iPhone though is the 6/7 line, the iPhone 8 is what we should've had all these years. The Note 8 had the best design to me before today, I think the white X took the crown.

This. HTC introduced Android users to a phone with premium materials and a unibody design, and Samsung pushed the envelop further. Part of me still misses the removable battery.

The look of the 5s was magnificent when it first came out.

Man I loved the design of this phone. I wish they were able to transition it to the larger ones

That camera hump ruins the aesthetic of the phone. It's just ugly and they need to lose it. Do what Samsung does and have the small bezel at the top and put all the cameras in there but that hump is just bad.
