As f*cked up as it sounds, it might actually be Morgan Wallen.

Edit: Mainly cause dude has White America on lock atm and he's on a stadium tour. Globally, I'd say it's a cross between Bad Bunny, Drake, Weeknd, Taylor, and some K Pop group.
Negged for c00nery.

Bad Bunny, though I'm not sure he will still be a top artist by the end of the decade.

He's definitely artist of the year and it's not even close. For the 2020's though, he's top 5 as I'd still Bad Bunny and a few other artist over him based on their global appeal.

Breh, i was just about to add to this post. Just think about it:

We’ve got a Canadian biracial Jew cosplaying as an American “gangsta” one minute then a Jamaican dancehall artist the next. He’s the male Madonna just jumping on any trend. He’s been the biggest “HipHop” artist of the last ten years.
full

And I’m not hating on Kendrick, I think he’s a decent artist but let’s be real, Dr Dre hasn’t curated a true superstar since Eminem (he can’t take credit for 50 Cent).

The only people I see hyping up Kendrick are the pumpkin latte sipping alternative negros and CACs. His act is too contrived. “Oh look at me, I’m wearing slave chains at the Grammys. Now i’m impersonating Jesus.” Kanye already did it. :yeshrug:

And I was in my 20s during the 2010s so no one can call me an old hater. The quality of music has declined so much. Adele, Taylor Swift, Harry fukking Styles? :hhh:
100%

But I always give a pass to dudes like him and Cole...
And the reincarnation of pusha T.

Because they atleast TRY. It doesn't seem like they are just all about the money and bytches.
They seem to appreciate the art/culture.

And the only reason they have fans is because those fans are searching for the artistic quality we had back in the day.
So they over hype Kendrick and Cole because they remind them of that.
I fux with it.

But yea, these artists represent the era we've been in.
A bunch of people trying too hard without being genuine, real, authentic, special etc
