lol @ nikkas asking for the series to end...are u nikkas mad? that's like saying Boardwalk should end after Jimmy died...fukk that shyt. I'm not really feeling Brody dying...but u nikkas are crazy if you think they should end this after 3 seasons because of what happened in the finale (Brody's death, Carrie going to Instanbul and Saul getting fired).

Brody was a fukk boi. There was no happy ending for him. Next season has insane amount of potential now that the brody storyline is gone.

Felt like a series finale.

The cinematography during the hanging scene left a lot to be desired. Boardwalk empire and of course breaking ba d woulda handled it much better.

:camby:done with this show. awful season of television. we memorializing terrorists now? dude killed the VP, and his goal to be a high ranking congressman in hopes to give the terrorists an insider on the us government, and someone who was close to the CIA and privy to its strategies was accomplished, which in turn led to a mass casualty bombing at said headquarters. lets draw him a star though, right on the wall with the people he had a hand in betraying and killing :beli: whole entire season 3 was hot garbage. brody being taken away and carrie telling the soldiers to call javadi to clear the mess up, risking the whole thing to be fukked up? :wtf: shyt is so top secret yet they risk brody being arrested, where he could possibly be tortured and in turn let loose what the plan is? he murks the top dude in Iran, and just walks out the secure ass complex while everyone in his office is literally out to lunch? the top dude in Iran suddenly dies, and is killed virtually immediately by an american right after just showing up seeking asylum in the country and no one wonders why, they just execute him that night? just horrendous writing. and thats not even getting into how cringeworthy those last 15-20 minutes were.

Behind You
The first season was amazing, the second season was OK but this was really mediocre and this was a pretty bad season finale.
Carrie annoyed me in every scene she was in last night too. I was hoping they would string her up next to Brody at one point.
The positive was that they finally killed Brody which was about a season overdue to be honest. Hopefully next season sees a return to the quality of the first season. While watching last night I realized that the biggest problem with Homeland was that they shot their load in season one. They had more than enough story in that first season to last for two seasons before blowing up the CIA and killing the Vice President. They should have shown a bit more restraint in how they paced the show.

the one thing that bothers me is crazy carrie lol at her still keeping her cia gig

sauls retirement package must be :wow:

but yeah they should just end the show, but it will be milked to death like dexter

:to: RIP Brody. I don't quite know what to make of this episode. It was so intense up until Brody died, and then it kind of lagged for the rest of the episode.

The episode itself felt like a series finale. I just don't know what they're going to do with the show next season that will make us care. With Brody dead, the show honestly just isn't Homeland anymore - it's just going to be a show about the CIA, just like so many shows that have come before it. As much as I like watching the Carrie/Saul dynamic, as well as Quinn, assuming Saul and Quinn are still around next season, those 3, to me, aren't enough to make Homeland its own unique show.

it was a fun ride. I'll probably slow down on watching the show now, in fear of a Dexter-like demise. I'll check in with you guys to make sure it's still piff. I'm fine with the show ending with this season.

Show is so over the top. How can it even go on without Brody. How is Carrie still trusted with top secret sh1t. When does Iran just let an America leave their country. Especially when the American was found with the man that killed the 4th most powerful man in the country? Didnt even question Carrie. :comeon:

this would have been the perfect series finale....but their gonna run it into the ground
:stopitslime::comeon: Over reacting a bit?

It ALWAYS all doom and gloom with you nikkas, they do one thing yall dont like, and its OMG this show will never recover, how can they continue to make it interesting, I should just stop now cause if I give it a chance to see what they are gonna do next, and my already biased ass dont like it, its gonna kill me :comeon:.. I though it was a known fact that brody wasnt the star of the show and he was just being used for this storyline, I mean he wasnt even in that many episodes this season, and it was a good season. How about yall watch a few episodes next season first, then after seeing if they go in a direction you like, then and only then talk about not watching anymore, or better yet just stop watching and coming into a thread full of people that are talking about the things they like about the show.

Nah they should have just started this season with the Tower of David, cut out the Brody family completely and filled in the spare time with Quinn doing some espionage/assassin shyt
