Walter not killing Jesse was EXTRA corny...The writers didn't even bother giving a good explanation to why Walter would not kill Jesse, when Jesse was his BIGGEST enemy...
Walter was fukked up.
I think him sparing Jesse was supposed to show some level of remorse for all the fukked up shyt he did.
Honestly the show was good but definitely overrated.

Him trying to feed his family was showing that...
Jesse was kept alive because the writers had no idea on how to progress the show without Jesse...

If Walter kills Jesse, after he makes that partnership with Gus, then where does the show go...? Gus is a meticulous businessman and Walter is a meticulous chemist...High quality product moving through a high quality network...

The writers had NO IDEA of how to make that story line work...So, Jesse lived just for the dramatic fcukery...But in the end, Walter should have killed him...It would have made a Walter and the show better...

I didn't like The Wire that much until DeAngelo got killed, and then Omar that killed...

Well no, seeing as this was what he used to justify his actions in the first place. Everything he did was under the justification of "its for my family" So how can that in-turn be used to show remorse for his actions?
