I can see our depth chart being something like this:
Trae/Rondo/Goodwin with Dunn getting extra mins
Bogi/Huerter/Dunn/Mays with Cam getting extra mins
Cam/Hunter/Snell with Gallo getting extra mins
Collins/Gallo with Hunter getting extra mins
Capela/Big O/Bruno
Well we’ve got a playoff caliber roster now (assuming Sacramento doesn’t match)
By position:
PG: Trae will continue to be the maestro with Rondo coming in off the bench and providing capable veteran leadership and a solid 15-20 minutes a night. Although I don’t love Dunn initiating offense, he’ll get some minutes here too
At SG: Huerter’s minutes will be cut dramatically. Bogs should start and average between 28-30 mins. So it’ll be between Dunn, Snell & Huerter to get that final 15-20 minutes a night.
SF: It’s Cam’s job to lose and he should get the bulk of the minutes 25-30 with Hunter getting the rest of the minutes and playing some PF in a small ball lineup
PF: Gallo & John Collins. JC is your starter and Gallo off the bench and also potentially close is amazing versatility to have
C: Clint Capela and OO. Lobs, rim running on offense, defense and blocks on defense
The team has addressed our two biggest issues with defense (Clint, OO, Dunn & Rondo) and 3pt shooting (Gallo, Bogs). It’s on Coach Pierce to put the pieces together but this team is definitely playoff caliber on paper
