Brehs at what point do we have to wonder if Pierce is a good coach? This team is way better than their record and loses a lot of games to poor decision making
Gotta give him next year with a healthy nba caliber roster at the very least. They shot well tonight but they’ve been inconsistent outside of Trae and JC who has been out for 25 games

Of course the ATL
I'm talking about the assumption this team "needs" another lottery pick

They do, clearly :mjtf:

Cam and Hunter are playing with a lot of confidence and look good, but they aren’t finished products and neither is this team. If we can add a top 3 or at worse top 5 talent to a young and improving team, why would you bypass that? We don’t need a bunch of rookies but I want the best talent we can possibly get.

You say "bypass" like we have a choice. If I have to pick between our young boys growing and developing and winning games, or them not, us losing, and a couple more ping pong balls that YOU YOURSELF STATED WE DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT WITH THE NEW LOTTERY ODDS.... I'm choosing the former :manny:

Team needs talent no matter how you slice it bro. I like seeing us win but a real win in a season like this is a top 5 draft pick. fukk meaningless wins vs the Nets in late February, I want the best possible odds for a top pick

:leostare: You do understand that we won because of the growth and development of the lottery picks we already have, right? We would need them to regress/stagnate in development for us to lose more.

Please answer this question directly: would you rather us grow, develop, and win, or regress, stagnate, and lose?

I think wins that we got last year when Kent Bazemore would drop like 27 are different than the sort of win we just got tonight where our young core played well. You guys seem to mostly be on the same side though.

Bruh we just beat a team that will be adding Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving next year. This win means nothing. You think anyone is bragging about development when beating the 2019-2020 Warriors? Either we get a top pick and can package it with some of these young players for a legit star or we draft one. The 2nd best player on a title contending team is not currently on this roster, unless it's Trae.

I want a championship in my city. I’m not satisfied with this roster and I’m not sure why so many other people in this thread are. We need great young talent across the board, no one should feel like this is a finished product and that we don’t need to add young talent at the top of the draft

Those are the starters for the next 5 years. No draft pick is replacing any player listed above.

Fernando, huerter, and goodwin are a good start to building a bench.

We dont suck, we just young
