A1 post but as Atliens we gotta hold ourselves higher than J-BopBeen a while since I been bacc.
Love the Capela move. Gives us a top 10 NBA center who's elite at our style of Basketball which is PnR heavy/switch-heavy style at a high pace.
Dedmon is back. Dedmon was critical to execution and man did we miss his ass. His loss felt like losing Carroll with Bud's Hawks. Glad he's back.
Skal was having a good season till he got hurt for the Blazers, surprised they let him go like that @Serious
Glad Goodwin will get his contract.
We should be a much better team now:
Ice Trae/Touch Me/Good Win
Red Velvet/Killa Cam/Teddy Grahams
D'Andre The Hunter/Pierre With the Drip/Killa
J Bop/Skal The Haitian Prince/VC/Big Bruno
Flex Capela/Deadman/Big Bruno/D. Jones
I agree. Dedmon should have never been allowed to leave. That was the first mistake and a big one. But at the same time it's hindsight as we thought we would get a lot more from Len.
I get why they let Omari go, dude was not being a professional and some times you have to cut ties. That's not a issue for me.
Now the other mistake was roster construction in terms of vets brought in...those dudes were awful and brought nothing to the floor or chemistry in the locker room. Big mistake by TS here and we started to hear about the dissention in the locker room in late December.
As far as TS vs Ressler, as much as we all like Trae, I don't think none of us imagined he would take the leap he took this year (All-star stater, avg 30 and 10). That in itself pushed the timeline foward and put a bright light on the offseason moves which is why TS is basically reconstructing the roster now vs this summer.
TS and Ressler on the same page, as you said, Trae pushed the process up a year. He became one of the best players in the NBA.
What would you has been a disaster? That seems strong considering Collins missed 25 games, P. Huerter has been dinged and we are leaving heavy on rookies.I agree but at the same time Schlenk sees Trae every day. He should’ve seen some of this coming and built a team more conducive for winning. He put out a product that could not compete for most of this season due to lack of talent/depth
TS and Ressler on the same page? You sure about that? These moves are a reaction to what has been a disastrous season
I’m interested on if y’all think we might entertain trading our pick if it lands us a certified all star/super star wing this summer.

Well that’s a little different if it’s disaster against expectations. This team was 7-27 at one point, didn’t play defense and was uncompetitive for most of the first half. Even without JC this team wasn’t supposed to implode like that...remember alotta people (especially in this thread) had this as a borderline playoff team. Against that expectation this year has been an unmitigated disaster IMO outside of Trae’s emergence as a legit superstar
Also Huerter’s a decent to good role player, he’s not gonna move the needle that much when it comes to wins/losses

I’m not saying it’s good but with JC and P being out the bulk of your core hasn’t played together.
I say we win anywhere from 14-17 out of the last 30. Went 6-9 last month.52 games in. What will be our record for the final 30 games? Probably won't start to gel as a team until late February. shyt probably longer. Plus Capela still has foot issues.

Pretty muchProb somewhere around .500 over the last 30 (barring injuries)
watch capela fukk around miss most of next season52 games in. What will be our record for the final 30 games? Probably won't start to gel as a team until late February. shyt probably longer. Plus Capela still has foot issues.
