Schlenk doing work!
We got guards, wings, big men...now all we need are some W's.
Hmmm
I was going to ask about the sense of the Demond deal but y'all seem good with it.
I'm going to miss Jabari gunning
I do. I think a few others do as well. I try to go to most games. Work or holidays/vacations cause me to miss a few. You can sell the big ticket games for like 2-4+ face value. The regular games can be hard to sell. Usually get face value. Some bad teams are less than face. Part of my problem is I wait til last minute (if work issues pop up)Yo anybody got season tickets? Thinking about getting some for section 210 row A. shyt is the best section for value to me cause it’s center court and row A has nothing in front of it. Better than plenty of 100 level seats.
shyt would come out to around $25 per game. These tickets go from like $40-$60 for regular games and higher for the Lakers type teams from what I see seen buying tickets on the secondary market.
I’m thinking I could scoop the season tickets, sell the tickets to like half the games and break even, and get to se like 20 games for free. Never had season tickets so I’m looking for a little feedback

The Dedmon deal is Schlenk admitting he made a mistake (just like when he traded Omari after his rookie year). Dedmon should’ve never been allowed to leave. It also tells you the decision to go after Jabari was a mistake as well. So I know everybody is happy about the Capela & Dedmon moves (I am too to a certain extent) but the decisions are interesting based on how this roster was built for this season and now Schlenk doubling down on what has clearly been our biggest weakness
Long term it takes James Wiseman off the board and makes Ant Man the likely target so I agree that these are good moves but roster construction under Schlenk has been a question mark. I’ll be interested to see how we play down the stretch with these moves and if being GS East is still our goal
I also heard that there’s been a bit of tension behind the scenes with what Schlenk wants (slow, methodical rebuild) vs what Ressler wants and he wants to win now. I wonder how much that inspired these moves

TS and Ressler on the same page, as you said, Trae pushed the process up a year. He became one of the best players in the NBA.I agree. Dedmon should have never been allowed to leave. That was the first mistake and a big one. But at the same time it's hindsight as we thought we would get a lot more from Len.
I get why they let Omari go, dude was not being a professional and some times you have to cut ties. That's not a issue for me.
Now the other mistake was roster construction in terms of vets brought in...those dudes were awful and brought nothing to the floor or chemistry in the locker room. Big mistake by TS here and we started to hear about the dissention in the locker room in late December.
As far as TS vs Ressler, as much as we all like Trae, I don't think none of us imagined he would take the leap he took this year (All-star stater, avg 30 and 10). That in itself pushed the timeline foward and put a bright light on the offseason moves which is why TS is basically reconstructing the roster now vs this summer.
