In Living Color if you were still old enough to understand the jokes back when it was in it's prime.

If Handyman, Men on Film, Dirty Dozens or Activist Guy aired today, people would be marching in protest to shut it down.

CHAPPELLES SHOW ISNT CLOSE TO IN LIVING COLOR
AND LONGEVITY MATTERS...

:stopitslime:HOW YOU COMPARING A SHOW THAT HAD
25 TOTAL EPISODES TO A SHOW
THAT DID 26 EPISODES A SEASON?

AS YOU CAN SEE CHAPELLE SHOW
WAS ABOUT TO FALL OFF HEAVY HAD IT WENT MORE THAN 2 SEASONS.

I picked ILC, But you have to admit that the final season is one of the worst seasons in TV history.

THEY HAD 90+ EPISODES BEFORE THAT...

:russ: the part when they broke character:

DAG: (pulls Damon away from the bushes as Damon tells him to "Stop eyeballin that white woman") IT'S 1991! :gucci: WHAT DID YOU SAY?!! :what:

Damon: I said "Stop eyeballin that white woman". :russ:

Both: :mjlol: :russ:

Damon: .....with your fancy clothes on! :russ:

Another real skit featuring Damon and DAG:

:wow:

The out of character interaction that you described with DAG and Damon Wayne in that skit is low key one of the most underrated moments in the entire history of television. It's my favorite ILC skit hands down.

The laugh between them was breaking down the 4th wall and bringing the viewer directly inside the joke with them. It was spontaneous and it was genius!

I saw this episode as it first aired in 1991 with my family. My father just returned from Desert Storm and been home for about 2 weeks. When DAG said his "Brother it's 1991" line my dad let out a passionate "You Goddamn right!!":damn: and told me and my siblings we are black and strong, never let a cac be an excuse from reaching success. The skit left an jewel for a 10yr old me to soak up and unforgettable family moment. :salute:

Like someone said earlier this show used to shut down the hood. A average black TV on Sundays in the 90s consisted of a NBA on NBC tripleheader. When that goes off we turned to fox at 7pm. Simpsons, Roc, ILC, Married with Children on the same block the same night:banderas: I feel sorry for y'all that missed out on this era!0

The question I asked was about ILC final season, not the episodes before the final season. The lost episodes of CS were pretty mediocre, but we don't know what would've gotten cut or redone before Dave quit.
