I watched ILC but I had to be between 5-7 my first viewing
Didn't understand none of it i'm sure

I watch ILC on cable every once in a while and its a tough watch these days, mostly due to their skits being topical to that time period (Rodney King, etc)
The platinum Chappelle skits will never get old

They're too different to compare and it's an unfair comparison. They're sketch shows that heavily/predominantly featured black people but that's about where the comparisons stop.
ILC was a snapshot into a time/era. Chappelle's Show at its best is about much more than that. It was about culture, race, interpersonal and societal nuances that are applicable in almost any time and era.
That would be like comparing Illmatic to Get Rich or Die Trying. To most they're both classics, and rightly so, but one can be enjoyed, and the other can be studied as well as enjoyed.

ILC was better and remember it was censored because it was on fox while chappelle show can basically do as they please with the topics.
