Life goes on , when you keep living in the past you end up like suge

And Big wasnt his best friend

He was jus his cash cow
If big was a struggle rapper who couldn't sell records

I doubt Puff refer to him as such a good "friend"

Puff didnt give af about biggie outside of music, fukked up but true

Im pretty sure he feels bad he's dead and how shyt went tho
Big's mom even said they weren't friends

BIG's not around to ask questions when those royalty checks come in. So I don't see how this is a negative for Puff on the business side of things. Then you have someone like Jay who catapulted to superstardom specifically because of the void left by BIG.

When it comes down to it, BIG's death was the best thing to happen to either of their careers. :yeshrug:

See someone like Nas also benefited but unlike Jay, Nas already had his own lane even when BIG was alive so he was going to be set either way.

And tbh, Pac was trying to end the mans career and livelihood and stated clearly he wouldn't be done until Biggie, Diddy and Bad Boy were out of the game...and he was throwing mad lowblows with Faith and Misa...so to me it was fair game :manny:...that beef had gone waaay past rap and having boundaries whilst Pac was alive

Once you start trying to fucc niccas wives and babymoms there is no fair sh1t to the beef anymore...anything goes from then on imo

for some reason just reading this line had me :laff:

A lot of rappers benefited from both biggie and pacs death

:yeshrug: doesn't matter to me.
big didnt need to make beefing his primary source of attention.
he let his skills on the mic do that for him.

This is what I think happened. I think he recorded a crazy direct diss to Pac before he died that was probably dope as fukk. When Pac died they probably thought about throwing the song away but it was so dope they decided to keep it on the album. But they changed it around to be more about anybody or any enemy and not specific to Pac and updated the song with other stuff, like the Cease crippled me line.

The problem is that they didn't change it enough and even though it was subliminal and not direct like the original diss, it still clearly seemed like it was directed to Pac.

I could be just giving Big and Pac too much credit but I don't think they'd be stupid enough to dance on Pacs grave, legally and morally. But I guess we'll never know...
