cause ray was never on these dudes level of putting his team on his back, during that time the 3 people was on that level was kobe, ai, and tmac, everybody was looked at as a lower tier

face when AI would ignore him and just have him standing in the corner
But, back to the subject, AI was the best fit imo Even though AI was selected to be a PG if I remember correctly, in hindsight they might have wanted to get Camby maybe? They had both Coleman and Weatherspoon, but Weatherspoon was a bit too short imo and would have been better suited to have him on the bench, I remember him being a really bad defender, so Camby might have been an ideal fit to have him with Coleman if he gave any fukks and with Stackhouse.
They DID get into fights. CTHU That's why that partnership lasted one year.
I hate when everyone says that AI carried bums. That's not true at all. He carried non-scorers offensively. He had the COY, DPOY, 6th Man, and scrappy players.
Every time AI played with someone that was a scorer, the team was horrible for it. Stack, Flight Brother #2 got like 8shots with AI, get traded and turns into a 20ppg scorer, AI double the shots Keith Van Horn was taking, Big Dog was a 20ppg player until played with AI, Webber avg 20, 10 & 5 the same exact season he went to Philly. AI just dominated the ball too much to compliment another scorer.
Looking back, AI and Steph were probably neck and neck. And they are both a$$holes. That still was a talented draft.

i mean that draft was one of the greatest in nba history, so it mustve been hell trying to figure out a number one pick back than without that much footage.
- although ray allen is a great player and had a great career, but honestly the best role for him is as a second option.

Allen Iverson was a very inefficient player(career 42.5%on FG and 31.3% on 3s
) who could have benefited from a playing in Phil Jackson's triangle type offense.
But people on the Coli dont wanna hear it though...
